speedos in public parcs

I hear that in central parc in New York city its very common to see guys sun tanning in there speedos, here in Lafontaine parc in Montreal (and outher parcs its very common to see guys sun tanning in there speedos.
How is it in parcs in your area.

Awful - a daring boardie might show up on a hot day but
the conventional speedo embarrassment would seem to prevail.
