Do you know about different styles for men's bikinis? which suits you the best .

My favorite fit is the standard competition brief. I'm not into very skimpy.

Yes I know and can make the different styles of men's bikinis. Within the English language the same bikini may have different names from different locations and brands and one bikini name may cover more than one design, this makes things complicated.

A swim brief has sides of 2" or more so a bikini has sides of 1" or less.

A bikini rear may be full, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4 coverage, less that 1/4 is a thong and therefore not a bikini.

I would usually swim in indoor public pools wearing a swim brief.

If going on a beach trip I'd take a variety of my current swimwear including briefs, bikinis and thongs to cover all bases. I would try to be equally or more daring than those around me. Once you have been naked in the sunshine and accepted that the male body is not in itself indecent you can choose what to wear depending upon the time, the place and your mood.

I like to wear the skimpy flat-front Asian suits like AQUX or Mategear. The modest look gets no complaints, even though I wear the smallest suit on the crowded beach.

Aqux is a great choice if you are young and slim and want to show it. Made in Japan the sizing is really small so size up, while the maximum size isn't that big.
If you like Aqux you'll probably like Seobean too.

There are so many styles. It all depends on where you live in the world. If you live in the USA, styles are very conservative, but if you live in Asia or Europe, very skimpy styles are commonplace.

If you;re not self-conscious about showing off your body, I think the nicest of all are (I should say were, since they no longer makes them) Aussiebum 1.5 Classics, which have a 1.5 cm side seam and are made of nylon tricot (the same fabric used in the original Speedo suit of the 1960's.

I love that suit! I have one in every color combination but sadly they don;t stand up to chlorinated pool water very well so most of mine are now falling apart, and worst of all, Aussiebum has discontinued making the 1.5 and now only makes the 2.5 Classic

This is the only remaining 1.5 Classic I now still have...and I only wear it in the surf!:

Now, if you live in Japan then you are in swimsuit heaven LOL!!! In Japan, men love to wear the skimpiest swimsuits you can possibly imagine, and the designs and the fit are incredibly nice. I lvied in Japan for a few years and atthe time, perhaps the nicest swimsuit of all was the Mizuno Mighty Line RQ-632.

The RQ-632 started a craze! There was a swimsuit designer who started making limited edition custom-made versions of this suit. He would only make about 100 suits for each version, and they would sell out n just one day when he released them, and they usually sold for around 12,000 yen (about $100US)

Too bad but Mizuno no longer makes teh Mighty Line or actually any other real kyoupan style comeptition suits anymore. All the big swimsuit makers in Japan have moved to jammer styles which I don't like at all!

I'm from Japan also and love wearing kyoupan. We wore Mizuno Mighty Line also. when I was on the swim team and I continued wearing them ever since.

Western versions of men's "bikini" are nothing like kyoupan.
