Cal-Az Swim Meet

Watching the Cal-Az swim meet on Pac 12 network, all the men are in speedo racer suits, not the jammer style. A real refreshing change.

Kumu - for most college dual meets in the US, the guys never stopped wearing brief racing suits. But, in a couple of weeks, when Cal and AZ and the other US schools swim in their conference championships, nearly all the guys will be in jammers, because they are 'faster', or at least swimmers believe they are.

Their is a definete trend for shorter athletic shorts and I notice about 1/2 the guys here in S.F. are wearing 1980 style running shorts.

I walked by the window of the pool at our community college and I also noticed a lot of guys in conventional speedo racers.
