Speedos AND Short Shorts

The blue-painted bascules are down - over his left shoulder is the Union Flag on top of the Tour de Londres and over his right the phallic object is The Gherkin (as affectionately known).

It is Tower Bridge, an open and shut case.

Don't come to London tonight, the airports are all snowed in, the trains iced up, and cars slip sliding away.
It's really cold outside, brrr.
Dressed up in everything I own except speedos.

Maybe a cold winter heralds a warm summer of short shorts and speedos. It takes an extended heat wave for people to drop their inhibitions.

Noticed a strange new football (soccer) fashion the other day. Long bright coloured socks pulled above the knee, a 3" gap then shorts. Though not exactly short, the shorts are worn well above the knee, giving a flash of flesh.

David Beckham may have started a trend with his long white socks but his shorts remained long too.
Above-the-knee likely to be seen more in training but a favorite with John Terry it seems. Chelsea FC at training in socks contrast mode:
