Nice story. I'm half Brasilian though much older than you. I'm disappointed by the Brasilian 'sungas' which are so wide, and nothing like the very skimpy briefs men wore in the 80s. When I go to Rio to visit relatives I usually try and wear European style briefs but watch that I don't go too brief. Where in Brasil do you live?

The briefs I wore as a kid until around 14 were shorter than what's available nowdays.

Recently I've found a marine blue Speedo in a used clothes store which quickly became one of my favorites. It's very short and tight.

I'm from Rio Grande do Sul.

Well done. I would imagine the speedo you bought is briefer than anything worn on the beach! I was born in niteroi but lived most of my early life in Rio (ipanema and copacabana) though my family originate in São Luis, Maranhão.
The briefs I have worn on a Brasilian beach was a white 'waveline' bikini with very narrow sides. My old aunt was with me and I was worried what she might say but she was OK with it and even took my photo. I've worn very brief black bikinis on aproador beach but was with my cousin and wife (who was in a miniscule white fio dental- what else ��)
