Is it cotton, thin cotton lycra or synthetic lycra?
It is interesting that they have used pink elastic, did they buy pink elastic, buy white elastic and dye it pink to cover the elastic in more of the same fabric? If the latter this is hard work that takes time and makes it a premium item.
Brave Person have been making men's bikini briefs, swim thongs and G strings in unlined very thin synthetic lycra. I'm not suggesting this is their work but it's worth looking at what they are selling on Ebay.
It's a very simple design, using a Sticthboy pattern and with the pink elastic and thin stretch fabric sourced I could knock one out in half an hour, once the cutting and stitching is set up a skilled machinist could knock one out every few minutes.
1/ Cut the fabric using the pattern as a template.
2/ Cut and sew the elastic, the waist elastic as a loop, the strap elastic as a straight section with a loop on the end going over the waist elastic.
3/ Hem the sides of the pouch sewing in the end of the strap elastic at the base.
4/ Fold the top of the pouch over the waist elastic and overlock.
Ready to wear!

Interesting. But I can't make one on my own without sewing skills.

Last month as soon as I saw this photo, I searched online. And found this one very similar on Walmart. For the price of one on Walmart, they sell same suit same price for 3 on Temu. Bought from Walmart because it would be arrived quickly.

Upon receiving, the different was that it has a narrow pouch. Still really want the original one like how it's wider in the front. Searching again didn't get much. So I returning here to ask for help.

And the suit is looking quite interesting? The one I purchased is made of polyester, sheer and see thru. One size g-string.

The item portrayed in this image has pink elastic rather than elastic covered in pink fabric.
This is as basic and as cheap as you can get.
The uncovered sharp edges of the elastic passing through the ass crack is liable the chaffe. This is why I preffer a thong.
