I defo think pointing it up is the option that feels better since you also get the extra material to hug your cock to your body, but the shaft has a lot of texture and if you dont want that to be seen, pointing it down makes the bulge rounder.

No matter where it starts, by the time I have sat down, swum, walked etc it ends up pretty much down, sometimes a bit to the side, depends a bit on the tightness. Easier to start down and it stays there without needing readjustment.
