The first Thong underwear Jockey sold was terrific for a host of different reasons. They were made from a material that was about 80 percent cotton and 20 percent Spandex, and used simply a narrow band of elastic for the back that cut neatly between the glutes, tickling me slightly in some interesting places as I walked or even moved, a continuing reminder that I was wearing something that was definitely not a standard brief.

In addition, this narrow band of elastic connected to the pouch with a heavy duty stitching and once the thong was in place and my nads and penis were contained in the pouch, that stitching holding everything together put upward pressure on my perineum, which I soon discovered was a very sensitive place and quickly made me hard. What fun!

Sadly, Jockey quit making these after only a few years. I guess not that many guys figured out what I had discovered, that as an aid to masturbation these were impossible to beat. I loved being in my Jockey thong, then and now.

Jockey currently sells one men's thong but it doesn't in any way compare with the original version they sold.

I still have a bunch of these originals and they are all over 25 years old. You would expect that the elastic would have deteriorated and hardened, but a number of the ones I have are still nearly like they were new.

I still love crawling into these and spending a lazy afternoon just kinking back and enjoying myself.

The one you see here is still in nice shape, grape-colored, 20% Spandex, and it fits me like a second skin. It is a real treat to wear. Not that much to it but it still packs one heck of a nice punch.

If ever there was a Jockey thong that beat out everything else in the world of men's thongs, this one it it. It dates from about the same time as the grape colored one, but seems to have a slightly coarser and even more snug fit.

This one has held up very well given its age. And it has had some hard use. I have jerked off in it countless times. For me, it may work too well in that regard as the mere thought of getting into it can take me from flaccid to "I need to get off right now in less than a minute." This is extreme thonging at its very best (or maybe worst).

I also use this as an undergarment with the idea of slipping a strap and cup over as a second layer. The combination of the two of them tugging and pulling in different directions is astounding. How can any guy NOT enjoy where he is under the circumstances...

This is marvelous stuff, except for the fact that these are no longer being made and have not been made for a long time.

Finally I want to show you the Joe Boxer thong I slept in last night. I made it through the entire night without jerking off, which would have never happened had I worn one of the Jockey thongs I just showed you.

Most of the KMart stores have closed. I used to get these locally until the local store only a few miles away closed.

The reviewers give these high marks. Its always fun to read reviews of men;s thong underwear. You could actually use these as a daily underwear or as sleepwear. If you are new to the sheer pleasure of thonging this is a low cost way to find out if this is something you might enjoy doing.


But, as I indicated, wearing the Joe Boxer version I slept peacefully though the night without waking up at 3 AM with an incredible urge to get off as I likely would have happened had I been wearing some of the other thongs as sleepwear.

Enjoying my own body while wearing a thong has been an important part of who I am as a person for about 30 years, and I hope you enjoyed seeing a few of the interesting items I have in my collection for just that purpose.

I dug around and found some older photos with me in the Speedo Thong and then the Jantzen Thong (looks like these were taken BEFORE my prostate was removed LOL) On the Speedo photos note that the back is almost a full coverage near the waistband and fits high enough so no Y is visible, but that the thong strap is wide enough to stay over and cover the entire butt crack with a band of fabric all the way to the pouch connection. As thongs go this is very conservative and would likely not attract a lot of attention in a group where the other guys were wearing standard Speedo briefs.

The issue with thongs as male swimwear of course is whether the suit as normally worn is (perhaps illegal) nudity or not if seen on a public beach where laws prohibit nudity.... I guess Speedo was trying to come up with a design that might be acceptable in this respect. Normally women at a public beach could easily get by wearing a suit with this much rear coverage but the question always is are the "rules" somehow different and more restrictive for males?

Jantzen was making this thong intended as male swimwear at about the same time Speedo was selling their version for guys. But Jantzen was much more daring. Not only is the Jantzen thong much skimpier than the Speedo thong overall, but the butt-coverage is much different too. The back fits high enough to provide full coverage of the "Y" but to do so the lower part of the back has to be cinched up tightly between the glutes.

On a beach that purportedly prohibits public nudity I could see a ruling that would let the Speedo thong pass but the Jantzen fail specifically because the lower part of the butt crack is not covered like it is with the Speedo thong.

Nudity aside, on a "pure fun to wear" scale the Jantzen is a lot more sheer fun to wear than the Speedo because of the way it fits in the lower back. It would give my perineum an exceptionally wonderful kick almost constantly.

I would be interested in hearing some comments on this comparison. Given a choice between these two swim thongs, which would you prefer to be in?
