Females thoughts on Speedos

Well guys, this weekend I got a surprise vacation and a point of view from women on speedos. I was fascinated but what they said and decided to pass it on.
How I ended up in Hawaii on the spur of the moment is another entry so I will stick to this subject. It will be long as it is
It is my tradition in Hawaii to go to the beach bar and have a Mai Tai or two. Having been to the hotel many times I knew the waitress and bartender. As we talked a group of about 6 or 7 girls came in. Obviously on vacation, it wasn’t long til they started flirting. The waitress egged them on telling them I was a regular and would jog the length of the beach and then swim back to the hotel. One of them perked up and asked if I wore those “cute little speedos” The waitress piped in that I sure did and pulled out her “Guys o the Beach” album to show a picture of me. (didn’t know she had taken it) Into my second Mai Tai (or more aptly named would be bucket of booze) I decided to ask them if they liked to see guys in speedos. They all had their two cents to offer. A fit guy was the general approval with qualifications. If the guy is too muscular with a 6 or 8 pack they were usually too into himself to be fun or may be gay. If the suit was too tight and showed every vein and their religion is was pretty much considered gross. (the number of girls was up to over 10) They also said that a guy had to look confident and secure in his decision to wear them. Thongs were pretty much really hot – but only on dancers on the stage and not in public. When asked if they were married to or dating a guy that wore speedos the response was mixed from uncontrolled laughter to only when they swam for exercise. Most agreed they didn’t want their mans junk on display. I noted that they were all showing half of their breasts. That was different. Generally a man’s junk is kept in his pants and only shows a bulge, where as a woman’s breast was pretty much on display all the time. Then I got a big shock. One of them asked me if I wore a cock ring. I told them no. I didn’t find them comfortable and didn’t like having everything “out there”. Unanimous chorus of how much they hated them. Seeing a guy with a big bulge and then getting to the room to find out it was all pushed out in a cock ring was false advertising, just like a woman wearing a padded bra. “You’ve got what you’ve got, deal with it and learn to be proud of it. Being a liar about your attributes is a turn off.”
My dear friend the waitress –being sarcastic – then asked the girls what they preferred seeing me in board shorts or the speedos. The pic was passed around again and I stood up and turned around for them. (I was in a pair of Tommy Bahama board shorts) After some discussion one announced she would have to see me in person in speedos to decide. I told them I was commando and had no speedos with me. Our friendly bar back who was listening to the discussion dug under the counter and produced a pair of bright red 1” speedos – “You can borrow mine”. I went to the restroom and put on the suit. The girls all said I looked hot and loved the tan with the red. However when asked if their other half wore a suit like this one would they approve of being seen with him at the beach or pool. Most said that if they were alone but not around their friends. At the same time I was modeling the skimpy red suit a really hot guy in his mid 20’s came to the bar for a drink wearing a pair of board shorts that, like most, rode dangerously low. Being somewhat drunk I grabbed the kid and told him I would buy his drinks if he would give me 5 minutes. I dragged him over to my coven of females and stood next to him and said “Ok girls, I want a vote – which look do you like better?” The interesting thing was that they couldn’t come up with a definite decision. The only thing they agreed on was that both of us were sexy and a few volunteered a room keys to either or both of us. (he took a big gulp of his drink and whispered to me –‘do they mean both of us at once?’) Turns out he was a good guy and ended up joining our party. Before we were done we had traded suits at the girls request to see how we looked. From that point on it got weird and that is a story of its own. But I did find the comments on speedos from the females insightful. It seems they approve of them on other guys that are confident and secure in themselves but not too interested in their man wearing them around other people. And that false representation is offending, as is a suit too tight or transparent showing off what was inside.
Hope this help clear things up or at least offers a point of view we don’t often get.
