Loose Fitting "Speedo" Trunks
If you think a speedo is too revealing, here are some 1960s vintage style swim trunks:

I lived through the 60's and can honestly say I have never seen anything so ugly. No one would have been caught dead in those. Our swim team and all the friends I had wore 2" to 3" suits and never baggie. Those things are flat out ugly. Reminds me of toddlers shorts to cover diapers(nappies) The 60's were a time of tight - not baggy. Jeans were even with elastic content so they would stretch to fit.

Loose fitting Speedo trunks.
I saw the advrtising pictures and never liked those baggy trunks. I've only worn Speedo swim briefs of the 1960's and liked them a lot at the time. Like those loose trunks, the Speedo briefs covered a lot of the male anatomy as the trunks. The swim briefs fit very snug and felt really nice, despite having cotton inside liners of older type with outside nylon or polyester material. After swimming, when the baggy older trunks were wet, they just plopped off, as the briefs of the 60's took a little more to getting them off when wet. and having a boner at times. It was a very slow, tickling process, stripping off those tight wet Speedo swim briefs and certainly felt good while wearing them. Loose Speedo trunks could never compare to the newer swimsuits, yet they were much better than the loose Speedo trunks of that time period.
