Smile What I Learned This Summer

With summer coming to a close, I'm reflecting on my swimwear journey this year. From experimenting with bold choices in design and color to gaining confidence at the beach, this board and my experiences have shaped my progression.

The Front

As I discussed in another thread ("Well-endowed" swimsuits), I've fantasized about presenting as a well-endowed show-er. The beach became my place to live that out. I'm an average grow-er, but with an extra dose of Cialis, some fluffing and stretching, some penis-pumping, and taking in the sensual nature of the beach, I found that I could reasonably maintain a partial erection and simulate the look of a well-endowed show-er. The front style I found from Liquid Vinyl Clothing works for me and feels absolutely amazing.

The first time I got up from my blanket to walk to the water wearing that front style, it was "Courage and Confidence" self-talk that allowed me to do it - but it was scary as hell. Each time it got easier and easier to lose the (unnecessary) inhibitions. From to-the-water-to-back-to-the-blanket, to spending more time in the water and exploring the waves at different places along the shoreline, to being totally comfortable walking anywhere on the beach and interacting with others, the inhibitions faded. What started with a "Courage and Confidence" pep talk eventually became second nature, and now I walk the beach without hesitation.

I found that people are generally open and positive. I've had brief but pleasant interactions with several people while in the water and walking along the shore - a family with a dog, a young woman fully dressed wading in the shallow waves (she was afraid to go in further), a woman who complimented me on my tan. And there were other potential pleasant interactions that I regret not engaging in. All while wearing my favorite front style presenting my image as a well-endowed show-er.

The Rear

Throughout the summer, I progressed (regressed?) from rear full coverage to "gathered" full coverage, gathered Brazilian, gathered Rio, gathered Tanga, also lowering the front and rear height, and finally to T-back thong. ("Gathered" refers to a design where the fabric at the back of the swimsuit is cinched or gathered together along a central seam. This creates a ruched or puckered effect that contours to your body making it more form-fitting - feels great!)

Each step along the way felt more liberating and natural. By late summer, the thong, my new favorite, felt perfectly normal at my favorite beach (a State Beach in a small California coastal town) and comfortable and natural in the water. I'm sure there's an argument for trying a thong "cold turkey", but this progression worked for me.

Next summer, I'm going to try a string thong as my next step - just enough brightly colored string to shout "I'm not naked!".

The butt, really, is just another part of the body no different than your back or legs. Yes, they can be attractive but there's no reason to treat them as obscene. At the beach, bare butts - whether on men or women - should be no big deal and we should all work together to normalize them. Women are well ahead of men on this. It feels daring at first but soon becomes totally natural.

I've started to do my part in normalizing men's bare butts and expect to make a lot more progress next summer! How about you? Ready to make next summer even more daring and fun?

The Colors

I experimented with different colors this summer, starting with baby blue (soft and serene), then moving to neon green (bold and attention-grabbing), neon yellow (vibrant and daring), and white (classic and striking).

Neon green is my favorite by far - it stays vibrant and doesn't fade like the neon yellow did after several uses (probably unique to the brand or fabric run). Baby blue is too low key for me at this point. Never wore the white to the beach because - to be completely transparent - it shows through.

So neon green it is for future swimwear purchases. What about you - what colors do you prefer, and why?

Beach Equipment

I graduated from a green 10'x10' microfiber Monster Towel that I've used in the past to a 10'x9' Wekapo Beach Blanket that's lightweight, compact, "sand-free" quick-drying, and made of tear-resistant ripstop nylon. I just wish that the stuffit carrying bag were a hair larger.

For the first time, I got a beach tent so that I could stay all day comfortably and have some privacy when needed. First the Gorich Beach Tent for 3/4 Person. I lost the tent poles so ordered another tent, this one 5/6 Person. Then I realized that replacement tent poles are readily available - replaced the lost 3/4 Person, and upgraded to aluminum for the 5/6 Person. Again but even worse than the blanket, I wish that the stuffit carrying bag were quite a bit larger. But with some effort, they both go back in where they belong.

Then there's the Igloo Wheelie Cooler with some drinks and snacks, camera tripod, penis pump and lubricant, several swimsuits, a hat, sunscreen, moisturizer, wipes, and a container to pee in, along with the beach blanket and tent and stakes. The cooler has small wheels so I have to drag it across the sand. Next summer, maybe something with larger "beach wheels".

With this gear, I was able to spend whole days at the beach, fully comfortable and equipped for anything.

Next Summer's Swimwear

This winter, I'm planning to try out more daring thong styles from Muscleskins. I'm looking forward to field-testing them next spring and seeing how far I can take it.

Photos

I've attached photos to the next several messages (max 2 photos allowed per message). The photo titles are self-explanatory.

Now, I'd love to hear from you! What did you learn and experience this summer? Any daring styles or experiences you're planning to try next summer? Feel free to share your own photos, experiences, and feedback on my journey - let's make next summer even more fun and daring together!

I may not be promoting male thongs the way you are but I have made it my mission to defend the basic brief.

Every summer I make sure I visit the popular beaches wearing a proper brief.

Here in Australia it seems that some guys who prefer skin tight styles of swimwear are confined (or intimidated) to square cuts or trunks.

Sometimes my briefs are plain and sometimes their brightly coloured but I think if the crowd see a guy wearing briefs they will have more confidence to try themselves.

I agree with you about swim briefs and do so myself.
Since thongs are not legal on NJ beaches I will not wear them here.
May try next time I am in Florida.

Good attitude Fairfax, enjoy the oncoming Australian summer on the beaches in your swimbriefs but leave space in your beach bag for a 1" bikini brief and a swum thong for those days when you find yourself well away from the towns with few people around to take offence and you find a quiet hidey hole in the dunes.
After relaxing in the sunshine for a while you'll get used to wearing something rather briefer than usual and get the urge to explore the area around you, of course someone will see you from a distance, they may look twice and then they'll ignore you. By the time you walk down to and into the sea (where you are certain to be seen) you'll have built up the confidence not to be concerned.
The viewer may consider that if you can get away with wearing that here then they could too and amble over to get a better look.
