New Aussiebum "Swish" Range
Greetings Speedo Fans,
Would love to hear from anyone who has tried out the new Aussiebum "Swish" range and what your thoughts and experiences with these have been. I am coming from the perspective of actively lap swimming, not just rest, relaxation (and 'revelry'). Also looking as an alternative to my beloved Endurance briefs which I've never really been able to beat. Here is the link to them: http://www.aussiebum.com/swimwear/1981/ruby/ White - Non-Sheer Just quickly for anyone who is looking for a white suit that is non-sheer Aussiebum have included one in this range (which targets active swimming, before anyone asks why you'd want that hehehe). http://www.aussiebum.com/swimwear/1984/ivory/ Unfortunately Ab haven't been very generous with the photos on this range (and I'm not taken in by their arty efforts). Thanks for reading, looking forward to any responses. Endurance Lad |

I was drawn to the "Lo-Rider" collection of swimwear I like the prints.

I am not a huge ab fan, but these are really nice looking suits. I like the lower cut. The price is good, too. May have to get a couple pair.

Yes, very interesting to see what they've come up with (and I notice the traditional red seam tag now goes).
I would only detract on "new" low riders - where it is AUSSIEBUM white lettering on red and blue . I am sure that's been around a while. Black and white stripes also "new" but it is my pet hate in design (though I know at least one of the surfboat teams at Bondi would strongly disagree). |

Great suits!
I love the Aussiebum Swish swimsuits!!! I have the Onyx in medium, and it's amazing. Super low, hugs my butt and makes it look amazing, and the way they are cut in front is pretty fantastic. The fabric does this very subtle gathering up thing between my legs and the pouch, and makes it look like the suit is straining to ... er... contain me. It's a very subtle effect, and not over the top, but it's very flattering. Fantastic suits.

Love my Aussiebum Swish - got two pairs, black and navy. Great in the pool, hug the body in all the right places.

Agree AB's website presentation is a bit of a mish-mash
for the new range and rather mean on illustrations. Seems they have some satisfied customers already however and we are told about a new fine Italian fabric being used. However, I wish they'd just say "We're off nylon now and into Lycra" and be straight about it. |

Pics of my Swish!!!
Spent some good time laying out tanning today in my black AussieBum Swish. Love that suit, it's so tiny and clingy! Here are some pics: https://www.flickr.com/photos/941171...7644646065850/

I bought a turquoise one last year before they were renamed Swish. I can't remember the name that was used back then. I like the suit a lot because of the low cut and the low ride on the hips and the comfortable feel, but I'm not sure it would be good for lap swimming because after in the water, no matter how tight I tied the strings, it rode down on my butt leaving my crack exposed, a look I don't like. A strange thing also happened when I wore it in Cancun. It became discolored in spots, sort of a rust-like color. It did wash out with a bit of powdered bleach, however. So, my review is somewhat mixed.
