Default Finis

Thanks for that confirmation on UCSB Swimmboy and no doubt my "whale" is http://ts4.mm.bing.net/th?id=HN.6079...51603&pid=15.1
( though I keep reading three indistinct letters as FOX instead of five letters for FINIS ).
Funnily enough there is FOX swimwear but it is for women.

(I shall pursue Ducko "Mexicana" and post if lucky to find elsewhere)

Yeah! The model wore it very well, no extra folds on the fabric at all.
Interesting design with those laces in the front.

Default eureka

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Waterpolo-Su...p2054897.l5658

BCS is water polo and front and back images are here now - with most detail on the front where is the duck, the sea shell and the fishes, the text Mexicana, and the stars and stripes on the inner waistband (enlarge)
(it is pre-used and priced at $95 on Ebay but only size 28 and so likely it would cost more if larger)

PS:That guy from West Hollywood is at it again - a ridiculous price is also on that page for a Tom Daley blue Speedo, described as "Olympic" which it certainly is not.

Re. post#53 I cannot put a name to the unusual speedo but he does for some reason seem to appear in A History Of The Athenian Navy:

The Author couldn't find any historical photos. Instead, snap on some modern photos to "make-up" what were missing!

Byron - thanks for finding the BCS suit picture. The suit must be maybe 4 or more years old? I haven't seen any recent pix of guys wearing 'Ducko' suits, unfortunately.

OK - one little conundrum out of the way - guess it must be WOMP from now on (if at all). Four+ years about right (and well made by the look of it)

*LOL - colors of Spain/made in USA/worn by Mexicans

...EDO at the front of his speedo is not what I thought it was - any suggestions?
