From my winter visits to FL, it seems to me that very brief swimwear is rare on the Gulf coast and more common on the Atlantic. Do you see other men in very brief swimwear or are you usually the only one?

St. Petersburg you’ll see a few, siesta key you’ll see some and Caspersen beach in Venice you may see several just depending on the day. Sanibel/Captiva I’ve seen some and Marco island I’ve seen a few. Rarely do I see another guy in a thong except at Caspersen. I’ll see women in thongs all over and occasionally topless. Awhile back my wife and I were on a local beach, the wife was topless and a young woman came out and took her top off so after a bit I went nude and she did too, but there was nobody else even close. East coast side from Cocoa beach down you may see anything. But I doubt you’ll see anything in the winter months except Miami and Ft. Lauderdale and where I am. Maybe the occasional older man in a bikini.
