hm I got a response to a e-mail I sent them. I was asking about their color collection. unfortunately you need to order a minimum of 5 to get them. I also never found out what they are made of. Swimmboy, what does yours feel like? nylon or nylon blend?

You can buy the California Republic of Water Polo suit individually - but I suspect there is a minimum order if you want personalized colors or patterns. I am not a fabric expert, but inside the suit it says "POLY 53 PBT 47", which I assume refers to the fabric. It feels like nylon to me - the inner lining is plain white and feels like it is the same fabric and thickness as the outside, colorful part of the suit. I suspect the suit would be rather revealing if you remove the liner, if that is the effect you are looking for?

"Confusion reigned and they all got wet"
Maybe a little clarification is needed here: PS Dave clearly says he once had the Monster red CCCP w-p suit. Louis says "me too" but I think he means the white Turbo Kremlin suit with red CCCP lettering and carrying an image of what is probably the Spasskaya Tower - and illustrated here : http://shop.waterpolocity.co.uk/prod...28795_zoom.jpg Turbo certainly seem to have followed also with an all red w-p suit design for CCCP but this was with yellow lettering and yellow hammer and sickle ( and is I believe on the website http://shop.waterpolocity.co.uk). |

The link which says zoom has been rechecked a dozen times and is correct but will not perform.
A smaller illustration is therefore given here (and with my excellent Russian I can of course say that BATE.... means WATERPOLO) http://shop.waterpolocity.co.uk/prod...product_id=129 |

Yes, the suit would feel similar to nylon fabric.
Poly 53 is 53% Polyester. PBT 47 is 47% of a stronger polyester which is mostly used in electrical insulation but will often appear in kids' swimwear fabrics, with its anti-UV properties, eg. http://www.21fashion.com/aaaa/PBT/JV10PBT05.jpg |
