I wear bikini underwear (nylon) rather than actual speedos beneath trousers.

30speedo may be interested to see that Skinzwear also seems to be representing itself today with a first post in Buy and Sell Forum

@SpeedoGoat, I wear nylon undies daily too, I always have. For several years now I've mostly sourced them from JG2, expensive but very high quality.

What brands have you found? Where are you buying them?

Default sweaty undies

You guys worry me - all day in nylon and not breathable cotton?

I am old enough to remember the "miracle" non-iron material because nylon shirts had arrived. With tight collar and tie at the neck on a hot day I can still remember how uncomfortable those damned things were (not to mention armpits)

Modern synthetic underwear is made from materials such as microfibre, these materials have moisture wicking properties unlike the early sweaty nylon shirts they leave you comfortable and dry.

In my opinion cotton isn't breathable, it's just absorbent. Sounds like it wasn't the nylon shirt but the tight collar and tie that had your panties in a bunch! (just kidding)

Say what you will, I've just always loved the feel of silky nylon. I like thin nylon socks and old school tricot running shorts too.

Default knickers in a twist

Interesting that you use another material to describe nylon - does silk in fact feature in anyone's wardrobe today? (once considered the height of luxury but now not available and/or too expensive?)

It depends on the cotton you use. Hanes cotton underwear is anything but comfortable or breathable however I have some organic cotton shirts that are very breathable. I prefer underwear that has lots of lycra or spandex as it is supportive yet not constricting.

I am not that big on most nylon undergarments but some of it is very comfortable and much of it either breathes better or is more comfortable than cotton.
