On wearing Aqux and Seobean Swimming Briefs
On wearing Aqux and Seobean Swimming Briefs
Can guys from other parts of the world wear swim brief designed for Asian guys? Well, the answer to that question is not simple. Here are some items to consider. 1. Sizing of Asian briefs normally assumes that average guys are smaller than guys in many other parts of the world. The Japanese size chart found on swimming briefs being sold there generally is one size down from what we would see in the US or even in Europe. The size chart is a. 26 US XSM J SM b. 28-30 US SM J MED c. 32-34 US MED J LRG d. 36-38 US LRG J XLRG This means that the average Asian guy wearing brief probably has a 26-30 waist in many Asian countries, not the 30-34 common in the US and in Europe 2. There are other important differences. The Asian male who would likely wear J SM probably has a waist size in the 26-28 range, but is also probably smaller in stature. Here I am imagining a height of perhaps 55 to 5 6, not the 58 or 59 height and 30 waist we would normally associate with a SM in the US. In short, the Asian sizing reflects sizing for typical Asian buyers, and a guy wearing a J SM probably barely breaks 100 lbs (45 kg) not the 135 lbs (60 kg) and 58 height we would associate with a small guy in the US. All of this is a consequence of diet, exercise, as well as genetics. The Asian guys are often eating a lower-fat diet and so on. 3. Differences in beach wear in males versus females is very striking when comparing US men and women with their counterparts in Asia. In the US and in Europe, it is very common for women to wear the skimpiest bikinis and to show a lot of skin, cleavage etc etc. The males stay covered with longer shorts. In many parts of Asia, however, the opposite is true. Women, even young women, often wear modest one-piece suits and do not show breast cleavage, belly buttons etc common in Western countries. Its the men that are interested in showing off their bodies, and this means a very small and really tight fitting swimsuit for the men. 4. In wearing these small-and-tight suits, there is another important measurement other than waist size that matters. That is, the length of the cleavage between the buttocks. The suits are designed to fit particularly low in the rear, and often show some cleavage at the top. However, keep in mind the following. a. The typical Asian guy wearing these suits is smaller in stature that the average fit American or European. A guy who is 55 probably has a considerably shorter butt cleavage than a guy who is 510 even with a similar waist size. So even if the waist size is the same, or nearly so, the suit is going to fit differently on an Asian than on an American guyl b. Recognizing these differences, I have studied the ads and photos of the guys modeling the Asian suits enough to conclude that showing some butt cleavage with these suits for a lot of Asian guys is no big deal or cause for concern. In fact its part of the fun of wearing the suits. The suits are designed that way. A lot of Asian guys would consider this not different from how an American guy would react to a woman showing breast cleavage in a skimpy bikini. So common no one would even give it a second thought! American men have been known to wear clothes in ways that those from other cultures would consider odd toofor example a few years back guys were wearing sloppy jeans hung way low so that the tops of their underwear was out there for all to see. Asian guys might consider this fashion to be very strange indeed, just as an American visiting an Asian beach or pool might find it a bit odd to see so many guys showing a bit of butt cleavage with low slung and tight-fitting briefs, especially alarming for guys used to covering up by wearing long board shorts at beaches. Generally, women are fascinated with mens butts, and that is the first thing they look at. The low-slung Asian briefs give the Asian women an excellent view, and the men know that. 5. If, after having read all of this, you continue to be interested in seeing how you would look in a true Asian brief, as opposed to a swim brief normally sold in the US, then here are some factors to consider. a. Remember the sizing chart difference, and that an Asian SM is going to be sized for a guy with a 26-28 waist, but also for a guy who is probably no taller than 56. Even if the waist size is ok, if you want to make certain that you do not show (much) butt cleavage, you will need to size up, especially if you are a taller guy. Showing butt cleavage is not as accepted as the norm in the US as apparently at Asian pools and beaches. b. Asian suits are not easy to get into. Think really small and snug, even in the larger sizes. If you are used to normally being in a down position in an American brief, you can pretty well rule that option out. I have found that the best position to get this to work is to go sideways, to either the left or right, and interestingly, not up. The sideways position will help in getting the suit up a bit higher in the rear as well as providing a bit more room for the rest of your stuff that needs to fit inside the suit. c. Both the Seobean and Aqux suits have rear seams. The Aqux seam is made to stretch a bit. What is going on here and exactly how should these seams be worn? Think of the seam to be positioned as you would position the elastic band on the rear of a swim thong. The thong rear goes between the glutes to the point where it divides them and disappears at points. The whole idea of the seam that stretches is so it can be pulled between the glutes in order to divide the glutes! d. You may not get this all to work for you, at least not for the first time, but I can all but guarantee that you are going to have a lot of fun trying. The suit is going to fit really really tight and the combination of pressures on all; the interesting parts of the body as you wrestle with getting into position is going to provide some really interesting sensations for you. There will be interesting stuff going on for you everywhere down there! Once the suit is on, whether or not you get nerve enough to eventually wear the suit is some public or semi-public area such as a beach or pool is almost beside the whole point. You will not regret having tried to do this. I envy the Asian guys a lot who are comfortable with doing this. |
