I live in Texas. It's more conservative here but if you wear speedos, no one really cares. You're defiantly going to get some weird looks though.

Why would you require a shirt in a wet zone?

I think it's just for courtesy. They see it as a park (t-shirt/shorts) rather than a pool or beach (shirtless)

You are allowed to be shirtless in the wet zone. I walked past the shirts required sign accidentally when I was stopped by security.

Well, I did bring a smile to quite a few people's faces :P But didn't have any issues with anyone at the park. I honestly think I got more attention form the employees because I was wearing it. One of the tower "supervisors" even mentioned that she had memorized my "shorts?"...hehe...she even said it as a question.

Unfortunately I re-applied sunscreen when the sun started to come out, then it went away again, so I didn't get as much of a tan as I would have liked...that, and my buddy whom I was with sucks at taking pics...so I have none

But just FYI, no issues!

Shame about that - but unless there has been a tinted camera lens used those guys in post#9 sure have taken in some rays on great bodies and anyone banning those should have their heads seen to !

Default Water Parks

Only water parks where I have worn brief suits are Disney and Atlantis. In the minority at Disney, but far from alone. At Atlantis, speedos were a common minority at the beach and pool, but I didn't see any others at the park.
