And the Japanese guys are going to boardshorts? This makes NO sense at all. They have perfect bodies for the tiny suits.

no clues
Yes, most frustrating - I too feel I have seen it before but lose too much resolution when I attempt to enlarge.

Waterboys 2 real coach?
real coach a.jpg
Click on photo to enlarge. Screen shot from the 5 level human pyramid at the end of the performance in Waterboys 2 TV series. There are 32 boys in the tower, all the boys in the school. Their old coach is waiting for a train at the station. Their school teacher is standing at the end of the pool with the principle. Yet bottom right of the picture is an unidentified man giving orders, I suspect it is their real coach. His voice too strong and commanding to be that of the sweet camp school teacher. The 5 level pyramid is difficult and dangerous, they had 2 attempts on the screen to get it right, but I suspect it took many more takes, as the coach jumps from side to side if you watch carefully. If it is him, he trained the actors/dancers/swimmers from scratch for the performance. The catchy Japanese song I could not recognise in an earlier post is Rainbow by Fuckuyama Masahara, it is used throughout the movie and 3 TV seasons. |

screen shot quality
Sorry Byron, taking a single frame from a TV show that has been recorded and subtitled in English then sent through broadband, does not produce the same quality image of taking that shot with a good film or digital single lens reflex camera.
Continuity depts. of film crews use still cameras to check on wardrobe errors etc, whether still photographs of this this scene exist I cannot say. If you are watching video on your computer and you want to save a screen shot then hit the "Print Screen" button (3rd in from top right of your keyboard) this will save the whole screen onto your clipboard. If you only want the active window then hit "Alt" + "Print Screen" together. Once the screen shot is on your clipboard open an art or photo application, create a "New" image and paste the clipboard onto the image. It can then be saved and used. |

Thanks
Point taken - interesting second para. - did not know that and they do slip up a bit sometimes when double yellow lines appear in a period drama !
