It seems to be the same, except for the mesh in the rear,wich is usefull on the Desmiit for letting the water go out when you swim.

I bought a desmiit last year and had to return it. They are SMALL! A Solar is like a racing brief compared to the desmiit.

I wear XXL Desmiit with twin stripes for laps daily. I tried XL and it was too small for me. Not too tight but the waist is just too low especially in the front for my liking so went back to XXL. I am 34 US size BTW.

I also got a couple Arigreben suits in their XL size just to try because the price was just too good (under4 $). They are way smaller that Desmiit XL. Tighter and lower waist than Desmiit XL.

They also are not as good quality as Desmiit and the material of the front liner is not quite as comfortable (but that may be because they are so much tighter than what I need).
