My guess is early 1980's Europe, the briefs Arena in nylon. In this period Arena trunks were cut lower than Speedos.
Get Japanese Arena to get the cut but you are unlikely to find it in nylon, good luck. |

I want this exact suit too lol. Small and no center seam or huge pouch.

This is why I ask everyone on this site to write emails/letters/correspondence to the major swimsuit manufacturers (along with sample pictures) and ask them to make similar suits to your specs.
So when you are enjoying your favorite glass of red wine on a friday evening, think of the "strong and persuasive" words you will use in your correspondence |

That's a really hot suit. I like how it's cut low with just enough of a pouch.

You can clearly read the Arena branding on this suit.
I still think they are made from nylon rather than Lycra. I had a couple of Arena Lycra suits one in brown the other in blue, green and white. They fitted like that but I grew out of them. |

The fabric Arena were using is called Skinfit, am not sure what it was made from. It may have been an early version of Paper Lycra.
Learn about Arena on Wiki here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arena_(swimwear) Currently Arena make some nice briefs in Europe but not the low cut in the photos as far as I can see. |
