Minutes Silence
The British Government held a minutes silence today in memory of those who were murdered in Tunisia a week ago by IS terrorists.
The victims were mostly older couples on holiday enjoying a sunny beach resort. Wearing swimwear, swimming and sunbathing used to be just a way of spending a happy day in the sunshine, IS have made it a political act subject to summary execution. An attack on our way of life. Our deepest sympathy goes the families of the victims for their loss. |

My sympathies for those families that lost loved ones in yet another senseless act of cowards that hide their identity and prey on the innocent.
My respect for the British Government in having a moment to respect and remember those citizens lost in a foreign land. I don't understand this reign of terrorism and those who find a need to kill and destroy. In the past decade we have seen innocent people being killed for no apparent reason other than the perpetrators just don't like what they perceive is another way of life. I really appreciate that the British Government has made a statement by saying these people were our citizens and we loved and respected them enough to hold a moment of silence to remember them. Maybe someday the terrorists will understand that life is for living and not for destroying |

I fully agree with Torchwatch and PSDave. I absolutely don't understand what drives these terrorists to destroy the lives of innocent people who are just leading their lives and not bothering anyone. I guess they don't see human life as of any value if the lifestyle is different from theirs. My heart and my sympathy goes out to those who have been lost and their families.
