I love patterns and prints in swimwear. I can't even count how many different suits I have, but I can count on one hand the solids...lol. If I see a new pattern or print I like, I have to order it. I am okay on solids if they have some type of a splice print or more than one solid panel of different color included. I have been that way since as far back as I can remember. I was always the guy on swim team who wore the bold prints and wildest suits to practice.

Default an art form

Have to agree that a particular print on the rack will often stand out as quite irresistible but I will go a little further and suggest also fabric texture
- a plain old solid can be made far from unexciting sometimes.

In general just one delicate piece of unusual artwork on an otherwise solid
color suits me, as long as the color combination works well (but I am amazed at what the water polo guys manage to come
up with for so many variations in their tiny club suits).
Can't explain why I will never take a second look at vertical stripes whereas
horizontal are often well worth considering.

If I walk into a sports shop and see only solid black Speedos I will walk on, if I see a range of solid colours, patterns and styles then I will spend some time have a search about and may well buy something simply because I am excited by it. Cutting back on Speedo shelf space did so much to reduce Speedo sales and make them unfashionable, if once you have black solid Speedos there is nothing new to explore and buy.

New design styling, interesting pattern/print/color and narrow sides would make me stop and take a look!

Default Turbo for AUS

One I have always liked - I think it is very cleverly and appropriately designed:

I like different color combinations, patterns and designs. I like spiral designs in particular.

I wonder what a Celtic spiral maze would look like on the back of a brief suit.
