Default Bought two Solars from Macy's Sale

Well I jumped and bought two of the Solars. I have heard they are not the original style, but I did it anyway. I am sort of perplexed by the two.

I bought an all white Solar and it is double lined all over with the nylon/Lycra material, same as the exterior. Very heavy duty and I do like that. The white one weighs in at 4oz. I am sure the transparency factor was the driving force for the double lined. May have to get another one.

The navy Solar one is single layer for the rear and they have placed a polyester lining in the front extending to the middle of the side. The liner "feels" like a cotton insert, and not sure how fast this will dry or feel. This one weighs in at 2oz. Not a fan of the lining since I love the feel of Lycra/Spandex all over.

Not sure why they did this differently on these suits? But $16.50 not bad.

the tag will tell you the materials in the suits. However, the best way to find out is put them on and jump in the pool or go to the beach. Transparency and drying time are best determined by actually wearing them swimming.
