Are there any size differences between Sporti and Speedo brand briefs?

I am just about to buy some Sporti briefs, but I am wondering how the sizes are different or not. I have tried on Speedo briefs at Macy's so I have a feel how the size is, but I'm wondering if it's the same for Sporti brand.

I used to have a size 32 Speedo solar, but I pretty much stretched it out with my weight gain, so it fit fine and perhaps it was already too small on me to begin with.

Are briefs generally supposed to be somewhat loose or tight as hell?

My experience is that the Sporti briefs fit a bit snugger than the Speedos, which tend to stretch a little more.

In this world, tight is good, and a really snug fit is what you should go for.
