Default Obsessed obsession

Holy cats, The blue and white Adidas G B 2012 London ollympic games worn by Tom Dalley and other divers and swimmers on bid on ebay.
The bid is now as high as 461 pounds (british currency) that is worth near double in U S and Canadian dollars, 4 days and 20 hours left to bid, and there is now a total of 29 bids so far.
Just how obsessed can one be to pay so much for a suit, is it because it was worn by Tom Daley, or, just because it simply was the G B official suit for the olympic games.
Wow that is close to a thousand dollars just for a suit and just how higher will the bids go.
Unfortunetely I would like to post the ebay page referring to the suit but I dont know how.
If someone would like to check Im sure that Byron or someone else will be glad to post the ebay site.

Default Adidas bids

LOL - see my post #46 on your thread of 05-13-12 for Olympic Swimwear Louis.
Kid0 picked it up just recently - see him on buy and sell forum, where he puts up the Ebay link ("here").

(I thought I was crazy to say triple but I should have said tenfold !)

Default ob..ob...

OK I DID, BUT ANYWAY TOM DALEY IS NICE BUT NOT TO THE POINT TO BUY A SUIT SIMILAR LIKE HE HAD ON FOR A THOUSANDS AND EVEN PERHAPS MORE ON EBAY I agree that he is good looking but a thousand dollars (lol) looks better to me.

Smile suits and TD

Gets confusing :

The bid you mention for the Olympics Adidas is currently approx $731, not $1000 (though who knows what will happen).

Coming down a little Ebay has a seller from California with the earlier team GBR lighter blue Speedo and this is just $499.
(my preference - not so keen on the way the Adidas Olympics one is messed up with white and blue wedges).

Then the Adidas Team GB Olympics one (the first of dark blue with red waistband) is appearing more now and a good deal cheaper:
From a seller in the Midlands England : just $35
Even cheaper from a London seller : $31

The rich have unlimited resources while the poor have unlimited debts.
Having more money than they can spend in a lifetime the rich demand authenticity.
Being rich you don't have to be obsessed with anything, anything can be bought on a whim, winning auctions becomes a competitive sport.
What should one wear to enter a speedo auction?

Default Exactly....

Mr Micawber said spending only 19/6d=happiness but spending 20/6d=misery.

For those with (a lot) more than £20 available I would suggest rarity (and so a unique standing for the collector) as well as authenticity is the draw and I quote the seller: are limited edition.....cannot be bought in stores .... only given to GB aquatics team.

If bidding at home, a nice little white Aqux - if at the sale room a fur coat in the present clime!

Default PS to post#4

This I think is TD in the $499 blue Speedo - one I haven't seen before - misplaced little cock ring must be a wayward tie cord in fact.
