Are they kidding? A hot dryer will melt speedos, applying a hot iron will only result with melted goo all over your iron.
Why remove it? When old and cracked it shows you are a swimmer and give the suit character. As far as displaying its maker -- how can anyone complain about that. N2N has 3" high letters across the ass, Diesel has it across the entire front or back, etc etc.

A cracked and weathered logo is a sign of distinction for a Speedo! As is a chlorine faded suit...
