helloBLG your self promotion is understandable however on a board that deals with brief or speedo type suits, it seems to be off base for a company dealing in below the knee baggy lifeguard short/suits. Even farther off base is your responding to an inquiry from a man looking for a thong.

Speedo Australia seem to be making swim thongs and they are being sold on Ebay:

Nice suit, but the logo on the suit on the picture says Desmit. It appears that the headline is using Speedo as a genericized term, and not a brand name.

Here is a vendor in the UK selling Desmiit thongs and not calling them Speedo brand:

My apologies for being taken in by the Australian vendor thinking he was selling genuine Speedo thongs, I would have been annoyed if I had been taken in and bought them.
There is nothing wrong with Desmiit, they are a well made brand coming from China and able to stand on their own feet without pretending to be Speedo. I own some Desmiit briefs and have enjoyed swimming in them. The UK Ebay vendor are selling swim thongs at a lower price (and with free postage) than the Australian.
