Smile New topics, more posts, several new members

Has anyone noticed that in the last ten days or so, there have been more new topics, more posts, and several new members posting? And the overall tone of the board has been very positive.

It's nice to see new members having the confidence to post photographs of themselves without fear of adverse comments. Flooding the board with professionally photographed images of perfect models makes our own technically flawed pictures of imperfect bodies look inadequate. Thanks to those that have had the courage to share their own images.

The thread on what we wore before Lycra Speedos were available is interesting, I didn't realise chemical corporations like ICI and Dupont were experimenting with stretch fabrics before they developed the Lycra we know today. This thread started with an innocent question that has been asked before but has gone off in new directions. Please ask "stupid questions" we never know where they will lead.

Its nice that new and old members alike feel comfortable enough to post photos or ask what they think are "dumb" questions or comment on a post and not have condesending remarks hurled their way.

As a kid I was taught that there are no stupid questions and if you don't know an answer to something, ask. So, especially for new members, even if you think the question has been asked before or you think it might be stupid, ask anyway. No one will criticize you and the good folks on this board will try to provide an answer.
