Short Tights
Do you guys have any recommendations on lycra tight shorts (or short tights -- whichever is proper) for wearing to the gym, hiking trails, even casual daily wear that have an inseam no greater than 4-5"?
I checked out the Jeffrey Scott website. Looks like really good materials and workmanship -- gotta be better in quality (and easier shopping experience) than what Amazon has become. Anyone have firsthand experience with Jeffrey Scott shorts/tights? Any recommendations on manufacturers and sellers for such? |

Thanks, Sebbie, but I was looking for short-inseam tights as outerwear, not as underwear. Not sure these would do the trick. Hmmm...

That is part of an ongoing discussion. Best I can tell the reason some have flys and others of the same design not is that the ones with flys are intended to be worn strictly as an undergarment but the no-fly version can be worn either way. I wear the 9 inch version as outer exercise gear and routinely go outdoors wearing them, tho I do not venture too far outdoors in them. Still if someone were to wear these as outer running gear that would be fine too. These come in various leg lengths in the same design with the longer 9 inch and even greater length versions seemingly more suitable as outer running wear. Your other option is a square-leg swimsuit like this https://www.swimoutlet.com/p/sporti-...4/?color=10770
In the case of the Tesla shorts the black color will make the seams nearly invisible from a distance Last edited by sebbie : 09-14-2019 at 03:06 PM. |

Thanks, Sebbie. The square-cut trunks may be just the ticket. I think I like inseams 2-4" best if I'm gonna wear shorts.

Short Tights
It's nice wearing short tights in the gym, but I've worn them during the warm weather and they really feel and fit nicely, especially under snug shorts, exposing the tight fitting lower legs on the short tights. I must say they are very arousing many times, wearing them with summer shorts. One of the fun times wearing them under snug shorts was at the doctor's for an annual summer checkup. Much to my surprise, both the female doctor and nurse admired my summer attire. When it was time to be examined, all my snug sexy summer clothes had to come off including the snug white summer shorts and my short tights underneath. I stood looking at them with a sense of embarrassment, when the nurse firmly and gently helped removing all my summer clothing, first the summer short sleeve shirt was pulled off, then she managed unbuttoning and unzipping the snug shorts and last of all my short tights that were somewhat exposed under the shorts. i was very erect, as she firmly worked the snug summer shorts down and off and now those beautiful white colored shorts had to come off. There I was before being examined by the doctor, still in my short tights only and not yet ready to give them up, but to no avail when she stretched and peeled them below my waist. It was a sensational feeling, as she soon had my erect penis unsnugged and freed from those clinging short tights. The feeling was like having my speedo swimsuit stripped off me. A few more firm pulls by her, the short tights slipped below my waist and now and off when she would say" step out of them" once she had me completely naked, then gowned. She liked stripping my snug summer shorts off, especially my short tights. i was now being examined by the lady doctor and did miss wearing those short tights, then wearing boxers with another pair of loose and long short after being at the doctor's for my annual examination. Those are some good times wearing short tights besides in the gym.

Skins Dnamic Shorts
I realise that this is an old thread, but the OP's request (short lycra tights with 4"-5" inseams) is timeless!
So, this is a shout-out for Skins brand men's 'Dnamic' short tights (yes, Dnamic not Dynamic). Skins actually offer two lengths of 'short' lycra tights. Terminology varies between sellers; Skins themselves refer to them as 'Dnamic half tights' (the longer) and 'Dnamic shorts' (the shorter, 5" inseam). The latter are intended as a base layer to be worn under regular shorts to stop chafing, but IMO they are just fine to wear without regular shorts over. The material is thick, not flimsy; compression is firm and keeps the bulge under control; the colourways are solid, not pastel. It's worth bearing in mind that, for any given length of inseam, lycra shorts will end noticeably higher on the thigh than the same length inseam in regular shorts. Because, the crotch of the shorts fits tight against the wearer's crotch with lycra shorts, but hangs an inch or two lower for regular shorts (especially if they have a liner). I like my Skins Dnamic 5" shorts very much. They end clearly more than halfway up the thigh, but they're not so short as to be seen as hotpants, which for me would be a step too far on the gym floor. The fact that they're solid, not pastel, colours (I have the black/yellow colourway), with a known-brand logo, adds credibility, especially when worn with a matching Skins top. It avoids the impression that I've been rummaging around on discount Chinese-source websites for something skimpy and sexy! As you might have guessed, I enjoy hovering just on that boundary of people wondering (or so I imagine) "is that guy posing in that kit? Or not?" Actually it looks as if the Dnamic short shorts might have been discontinued - a search for 'Dnamic' at http://www.skinscompression.com didn't show them. But they can still be sourced, often with substantial discounts, with a bit of googling eg https://www.sportsshoes.com/product/...ession-shorts/ https://www.jimkiddsports.com.au/pro...-da99050099238 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Skins-Men...AOSwWnRdpsg u https://www.amazon.co.uk/Skins-DNAmi...1-9&th=1&psc=1 |
