Default Stormy Weather
80mph winds in the English Channel, hurricane force winds over the Channel Islands. The M20 motorway to the coast is flooded, the road bridge to the Isle of Sheppey is closed due to high winds.
We are advised to stay at home today, we are strongly advised to avoid the beaches as big waves may wash us away.
It is not a day for Speedos outdoors!

As a person that lives on the east coast of the US, I advise listing to all the warnings and take corrective action. Storms like that are no joke. The warning may be more than needed, but I would rather side with caution.
