Default Over sized speedos?

Growing up, especially in teen years, did your mom purchase speedos for you that were oversized like they would with jeans and other things and you'll grow into them? That certainly caused problems!

No, mine started out the right size, but when I outgrew them the tight squeeze was thrilling. I have enjoyed tight flat-front suits and thongs ever since.

Mom bought me oversized pants and jeans " to grow into" but she bought me squarecut lycra swimsuits that fit pretty well. Darn well.

She did not like the very short bluejeans cutoffs that were popular with us boys at that time. Too 'trashy.'

The original (1960s) nylon Speedo suits had 6 or 7” sides.
My teen swim team suits were HUGE by comparison with anything I’ve worn since. Unless worn with a jock, your tent pole was unconstrained.

Those maybe were Ocean Champion or the slightly briefer Ocean Speed suits. I would buy a smaller size so the tent pole was like a popsicle stick. I liked the squeeze.

I still have a few of the Ocean Champion briefs. One in the original box. They were issued to us for swim class. Young age where there was ample room for things to grow and show. Loved swim class.

Yeah I loved the suits and swim class as well. Would love to have one of those brand new! Be fun to wear and try on. I'd probably still pop one!
