Default back to Campus Man

OK - does this help?

Actor John Dye (died a year ago) is the guy who needs the cash for his student fees and has a
loan shark on his back to produce some cash within a month.

He comes up with an idea to make some money by publishing a beefcake calendar.
The ideal guy to lead the models in this is his best friend and classmate Brett Wilson (male model and actor Steve Lyon).
The good looking Brett wants to help out his friend but participation in the calendar photoshoot loses him his diving scholarship at the college.

The preparations of the various male models are shown here. Brett wears black speedos but not red (but no doubt red might show up elsewhere in pool scenes).

PSDave is right about Amazon. DVDs are (or were) available at $9.50 new and $4.34 used.

Dangerfield as Thorton Melon also wore red but obviously not a Speedo
Jason Melon wore a red Speedo in many scenes involving competitive diving.
Red was a school color.
The divres from the school were competiong in red Speedos.

Campus man is a different movie from about the same time , also has a guy wearing Speedos, tho I don't recall the color.

Default speedo colors

Sebbie : Brett was in BLACK in the studio fitting room but in RED on the springboard - that I have clearly dealt with in posts above.

My one outstanding piece of research is to find that Steve Lyon was an Olympic diver - and, so far, I would say he was not.

Thanks for all the reviews. Believe the first movie posted here is the right one.
