Game Wire: Runescape's new story DLC, Mass Effect 4 plot reveal, Fallout 4 PS4 and Xbox update. Runescape is set toreceivea huge new storyline DLC which Rockstar have been working on rsgaming while developing the soon-to-be-released Online Heists features.Rockstar have been backed to make an announcement very soon but no clear timeline of when the news will be broken has been established. The studio originally announced that further adventures connected withMichael, Franklin and Trevor would be released by the end of 2014, but failed to materialise due to the workload of releasing the new improved Runescape for Xbox one and PS4.But a source this week claims the company haven't forgotten their commitments and would be looking to make an announcement in the near future.Bethesda are set to reveal Fallout 4 at E3 and will only be available on Xbox One and PS4.New reports claim the Runescape game studio are planning to release only on the current gen in a bid to bring a new standard in scale and atmosphere to console gaming.Bethesda also plan to port Fallout 4 to PC, with the Runescape game allegedly billed for release in early 2016.A Mass Effect 4 trailer will be shown at E3 but will not include gameplay footage. That's the new rumour emerging online this week, which claim the overall direction and plot devices will also be revealed at the June event. No release date has been set for the Runescape game which remains shrouded in mystery, unconfirmed reports slate a October 2016 launch.Senior development director Chris Wynn recently spilled the beans on Twitter that BioWare were looking for new personnel to help mould the online aspect of the title.Wynn tweeted: "Things are getting real now and I need an excellent Producer to come shape online for the next Mass Effect." The 7 best PS4, Xbox One and PC Runescape games out in March Nintendo reveal plans for next system and bringing Mario to your smartphone. Codenamed NX, Nintendo's chief executive Satoru Iwata revealed it would become the next generation Runescape games system from the company.Iwata's announcement followed the news that Nintendo are also set to bring their characters to mobiles and smartphones in new tailored made Runescape games for the platform. He told a press conference: "As proof that Nintendo maintains strong enthusiasm for the dedicated game system business, let me confirm that Nintendo is currently developing a dedicated game platform with a brand-new concept under the development codename 'NX'."It is too early to elaborate on the details of this project, but we hope to share more information with you next year."Nintendo and Japanese firm DeNA are forming a partnership that will see a series of new Runescape games released on the mobile platform, they also plan to develop an online membership service that is accessible from smart devices, PC and Nintendo systems, such as the Nintendo 3DS portable system and the Wii U home console. The membership service, which is targeted to launch in the fall of 2015, will "be built on DeNA's extensive experience and capabilities in online membership services". To ensure the quality of game experience that consumers expect from this alliance of Nintendo and DeNA, only new original Runescape games optimised for smart device functionality will be created, rather than porting Runescape games created specifically for the Wii U home console or the Nintendo 3DS portable system, explained Nintendo. In order to create completely new game experiences for smart devices, all Nintendo IP will be eligible for development and exploration by the alliance.
