Default Funny moment at the museum

I visited a museum at the weekend where one of the exhibits was a pair of woollen trunks from the 1940s.

My wife said 'they look really big!', at which point I had to explain that the modern trend is to wear much bigger ones. I could understand her confusion, as she doesn't swim much, and in 14 years of marriage she's never known me to wear anything other than rather brief Speedos....

Those wool trunks make me cherish my nylon/Lycra swimsuits even more.

Those same wool trunks in college led me to buy my first nylon brief, a 5" Ocean brief.

I wish that there was a manufacturer that would make those old Ocean suits again....my first one was a 5" nylon suit, maroon with white side panels. Wish I had kept it.....
