Saw this show on TV the other night and quickly realized that it was totally homoerotic. All the the gladiators are dressed in speedos and sandels. There is kind of a wrap around the waist but the package and butt is still on display. Also there is nudity. Not a lot but after watching two or three episodes I was getting to know who was clipped and who wasn't. (yep- male frontal nudity) The males outnumber the females about 10 to one, so there is tons of hunky male eye candy. Happily, there are very few scenes where they put on shirts or more modest tunics. I have the DVR set so I don't miss an episode.

You can stream it from Netflix-US but I'm not sure which other countries have NetFlix streaming now. ( see below ) The show has tons of buff guys and there's not so subtle homoerotic chemistry between the men who love to pose and dominate and play king of the hill, worship me. They live in close quarters and spend a lot of time relaxing at the baths. The leather jockware and other accoutrements are fascinating. If you like intense whipping scenes and heavy male power exchange struggles this show is probably for you.

The acting and production is ok, a lot of overproduced effects that came right out of the 300 movie playbook.
