Default Aussiebum Discontinuing Nylon Speedos

Has anyone else noticed that Aussiebum is like totally discontinuing all their nylon speedo lines?

I was going to order the Foster a 1.5 Loose Booster today.. and its gone..

Along with the Red classic..

I talked to Sean (head of Aussiebum) recently and he informed me that they were coming out with new patterns coming out and new color combinations. The big sale is to thin out old inventory and get ready for the new. It is due out for the summer season (down under)

I dont own an aussiebum suit. Are they as roomy as they look? How do they fit in comparison to a speedo or Dolphin suit?

Aussuebum use nylon while Speedo use Lycra these days, nylon doesn't stretch the way Lycra does, so the suit is a roomy as it is cut while a Lycra suit will always appear skin tight.

Default fabric life

Yes, it is basically a simple engineering principle - that which is under stress at particular points or even all over (eg Lycra) will have a shorter life expectancy and the return to original shape will be possible less and less over time.

The durability of nylon is legendary and I would suggest that Lycra would show up better if the fine grades were avoided as cheap suits if not brand new will not always look so good in fit particularly when also carrying extra weight with the ingress of water.
