We wouldn't be going until February or March.
We will still need to be careful to be sure that any hotel we book will be operational when we go.
Some time ago, we had booked a hotel on Siesta Key that was damaged in a hurricane.
We were told that it would be reopening on the day we were scheduled to arrive.
A few days before arrival, we got an update that it wouldn't be opening yet.
We had booked on Expedia so they helped us find something else, but we had to stay on the mainland.
