Yes, I completely agree with you on age helping you feel more comfortable with it. I think it is the experience of doing it that helps. This is why I always encourage people to just get out there and do it. Quit worrying about what other people think and just go enjoy yourself.
I know I really wish I would have been more confident when I was younger and in better shape. Regardless, time marches on... I don't know if I "rock it" or not, but I definitely love wearing thongs and g-strings at the beach! If I need to be more "family friendly" then a brief or square cut is always available, too.
