Every guy is a little different, but every guy shares a lot in common, too. This is true for a lot of stuff about guys, but no more true when it comes to sexually arousing turn-ons.
At puberty, guys quickly learn how it feels to get an erection and then an orgasm with a full ejaculation. This is often times a very embarrassing time for a lot of guys going through puberty, as this sometimes happens at inopportune places and times, sometimes when other family members are present, or even worse, when peers are present, say, in a gym locker room, or even more embarrassingly, in a classroom.
And guys at puberty are very concerned about a whole bunch of things. First, no guy at this point wants to be labeled as a jerk-off by his peers. And all of this is interconnected with the possibility that the guy might be an emerging gay not straight. All of this presents major potential problems about when the guy enters junior high, you know, seventh and eighth grade are probably the most difficult, but all of these issues can easily extend well into high school, and perhaps even into college.
Guys have real difficulty admitting to anyone other than themselves that they can be turned on by anything other than a female. The latter is the only thing that is “safe” from the perspective of not being teased or bullied. Guys quickly figure this all out, but this means that they can never engage their male peers in any frank conversations about what is really going on inside their heads and bodies.
Some of all of this may gradually dissipate over time, with maybe college roommates being a bit more open with each other than they would have been in junior high or high school. In the case of Joe and Bill, they have worked their way through all of this. There is still the entire subject matter of what if I can be turned on by seeing/watching another guy. Does the fact that Bill and Joe each got turned on by knowing that the other was experiencing sexual thoughts and feelings in the bed next to each mean anything in terms of their sexuality, and if so, what? Why exactly did both Bill and Joe suddenly decide to wear their snug-fitting compression gear, straps and cups to the student gym, anyway? And where does Dylan, who has been watching this quietly, fit into all of this for goodness sake?
As a guy moves beyond puberty, he may very well discover that sexual feelings and responses are much more complex and interesting than just quickly having an erection and orgasm in some completely private place. There is this whole subject of how to get sexually turned on and aroused without any significant external signs of what is going on, as in lacking a big hard-on.
Tony and Donovan have certainly added a whole new twist to the story, a twist that caught even Bill and Joe completely off guard. For starters, are Tony and Donovan just a pair of straight college rowing team members, or is there something else going on here? Could Tony and Donovan be gay, perhaps even gay partners? That is not clear at this point at all.
When asked about what the pair wore under the rowing singlets, Tony was certainly up front with his answer. Why was he so candid about wearing a thong? What was the point in even revealing that to Bill and Joe? Admittedly, the whole idea of wearing a snug singlet over an equally snug thong sounds sexy as all get out, maybe even sexier than a strap and cup under compression shorts. Something Bill and Joe now would like to try for certain.
At this point, Bill and Joe are certainly feeling aroused, but so far at least, their erections are still under control. They are both dripping clear, viscous drops of pre-cum into their cups under their compression gear.
