In the last couple years some body building contests have started to wear thongs to really show off the muscles. Skimpy suits are their "uniform" like speedos are swimmers "uniforms"
On a side note, the use of roids have a tendency to shrink their package so often times the guys look like they are hung like a 9 year old.
