Any speedo fans located in Florida gulf coast?
 

Hey there! I am wondering if there are any speedo fans/wearers located in Florida gulf coast, near and around the Tampa area. Hoping to meet some buddies and hit the beach for the summer.

You may be on the wrong side of the state.
i have vacationed on both coasts.
I have seen a fair number of men in brief swimwear in SE Florida and Key West, but very few on the Gulf coast.

There're are few over here on the central east coast. ;)

Yes, I understand most speedo wearers would be on the east coast of Florida, but I was hoping there was some love on the west. I never feel confident enough to wear speedos to the beach, so was hoping more comraderies pr beach events over this way.

I do recall reading somewhere that Speedos were more common in the Clearwater St. Petersburg area than elsewhere on the Gulf Coast bur still less so than in the Ft. Lauderdale to Miami Beach.

Azure99, the Skinzwear store is in Clearwater Beach. Why not give them a call and see what Gulf-coast Florida beaches they might recommend for rockin' Speedos or (ahem! :D ) something "smaller?" :eek: (After all ;) , microwear is their "bread and butter," and "helpful directions" makes for "action" on the sales rack!)

Sunset Beach St. Petersburg Speedo Beach
 

On the West Coast, go to Sunset Beach in St. Petersburg. There, there are a lot of speedos. On weekends, it is popular with gays, so naturally, there are speedos.

The Google images for the North Lido gay beach in Sarasota show a number of guys in Speedos. (There is even a guy with a great tan rocking a pink thong in one of the pictures. He looks hot and is not flamboyant but very sensual). Wherever you wind up going, enjoy your experience, and let us know how things went!
