What kind of swimsuit is this?

I had been going through images on Google for the past several months trying to get ideas on getting a swimsuit made and came across the image below. I'm not sure what kind of suit this is but it's definitely the most perfect seat on a swimsuit I have seen so far. It could be a rio/ 3/4 back but I like that it's not to triangular in shape. It seems that suits like this were more common in the 80s (apparently when this photo was taken). Any ideas as to what kind of suit it is?

The swim bikini is high waisted and therefore an older design to the modern low waist Japanese design currently in fashion.
I immediately thought of Kiniki here in the UK and came up with these on Amazon UK:

Or maybe these:

Other colours are available.

technically that is a rio back..

...the front could range from a standard narrow side brief to something way smaller..see options here http://skinzwear.com/prod_group.php?indexcat=1007

Three names I notice that come up as far as what was available in the 80s and 90s are Kiniki, skinz and Malepak (which I assume is Prevail Sport now). It seems like the Kiniki Riviera came closest to what I'm looking for.

The Kinikis seem nice. It's just too bad the color choices are limited :/. Either one of these would look nice in a jade or deep green color.

This is a thought also. Could it also be a posing style swimsuit in the picture?
