Identify This Suit

2 Attachment(s)
I saw pics of this incredibly hot swimsuit and wondered if anyone can identify the brand and where I can get it. It has the initials C Y on the front, but I cannot locate it anywhere.

Appreciate it if anyone can help to identify the brand and where it can be purchased.

I believe the photo is mirrored for some reason. The white text on his cap appears to be a 1, but the hook thing is on the right rather than on the left. So, it could be a Y D instead of a C Y. But I still wouldn't recognize the brand. Hope that helps!

Actually, I've taken a closer look at the original image file (by going to the Tumblr and finding it) and those dark markings appear to be the drawstring showing through:

Thanks RE for the sharp eye. You are correct. It is the string. I couldn't find a larger image, so I thought it was letters on the front of the suite. I was told the cap iprobably from the Italian Water Polo team. I love the thin material of the suit and wish I could find one or something similar.

Try a Caussie after removing liner!

Yes, I am fairly certain that is the drawstring showing through the thin fabric. I have seen this picture for many years (and always loved it). For some reason, I am thinking this may have been a high school water polo player in California - his suit was possibly an old, faded regular nylon Speedo brand suit. The nylon suits from the 1980s-90s tended to fade fairly quickly and become somewhat see-through after many hours of use.
