The Old Board's Chat Room

Is there a chat room feature with this board? I haven't noticed it yet.

From the old board I miss chatting with people like Phil, Bulge2Bulge, the dude from central California who was in training to swim a race in SF Bay--a real nice guy, sorry I can't remember his name. Also a guy from England and a guy from Kaua'i. There was also a guy from Northern California who faked everybody out, he told me he was really 70 but came on as a 30 year old. You can be anything on the internet, I guess, he was real fun to chat with too.

So where do you go to chat? The Chris Geary board seems a bit too active, actually, and it does seem to attract some pretty exotic tastes.

 See my Off Topic post of 05-14-2012 about live chat - a little nudge to Mike might be appropriate after all this time.

Live chat has been superseded with live chat and cam.
You don't have to cam while chatting but you can watch.
The younger, better looking and more more exciting tend to get the viewers.
On most sites basic membership is free while gold paying members get benefits of private cam rooms and viewing multiple cams.

The problem with the old board's chat room was that very often no one else was there or the only person present didn't want to chat. Are there enough users to make swimwear chat and cam work?

Let's not mention what tokens do to a chat and cam room.

Thanks for info. Torchwatch - I have understood it all better to the extent that I don't want it personally - but it would nevertheless clear the air for others if Mike would make a statement, having previously said he would consider its provision.

(I know it has previously been said that there would be more contributions on the Lycra Forum if a receptive audience could be assured - but that of course leaves us in a chicken and egg situation, just like the availability of short shorts for men in stores).

unwanted.

As you have just joined to sell something why don't you make your point to the website administrator ? - you have the facility to contact Mike if you look - and I hope he tells you to get lost.

The old link still works: http://pub26.bravenet.com/chat/show.php/2190705663 I've been on a few times, but no one else is there

Let's use it

If the link still works then let's use it!

Anyone going to meet me?

SwimTeamSpeedo 02-20-2013 04:49 AM

I have gone on several times since but no one is on. I think we can say the old chat board is dead.

Dean 02-24-2013 08:25 PM

try, try and try again!

Why not encourage more to try it? Maybe more of us will cross paths?
The Scottish phrase may pay off eventually!

I will be sure to check into the old chat room from time to time. A quick idea is to user the Who's online feature of this board. One could send a private message to invite someone into the chat room. I thought the chat room was gone, thanks for posting the link!

SwimTeamSpeedo 03-09-2013 11:54 PM

eric, I no longer see the whos online feature... are you able to see that? Anyone know how to get that back?

epicinspeedo 03-10-2013 01:54 AM

When logged in, in the menu bar it is found under "quick links" mostly it is loaded with "guests" but you can find what registered guys are online.
