Brave Person Swimwear

Anyone else wear the Brave Person Swim Biniki to the beach. I've wore one the past couple days and my wife said u could see thru it.

lapswimmer 11-05-2017 06:07 PM

I purchased BP bikini and never wore in public. It was transparent dry, so I can imagine what it would be like wet. I would use it as underwear with no problem. They are a sexy cut and I am sure the wife enjoyed you in it. Probably did not want to share you with the rest of the world :)

Drenalin 11-06-2017 06:30 PM

I've got a white pair and, as you mentioned, is very transparent. I never hesitate to wear it alone in my pool or to tan. I have worn it bass fishin from a boat, along with other suits. The expectation of another boat passing close enough to see more than the law allows is very thin and the few times thats happened is when someone wants to see as much as thry can 😚 and on the weekend in the Summer does happen. I prefer small cut suits that reveal a lot anyhoo.

speedorob86 11-06-2017 07:29 PM

theyre very showy.

I reserve them for under my clothing or bed

very sexy when wet.

I've got the black pair and wore them for a couple days at Shore Drive Beach in Myrtle Beach this weekend. I got some looks for sure but no one said anything. The popo drove by while I was laying in my beach chair on the beach but I was wondering if they would have said anything if they drove by while I was walking the beach in them.

Brave Person swim jammer

I got a Brave Person swim jammer some time ago. It is a bright lime green color, with a dark aqua trim. It looks nice, but the fabric is a little thinner than I was expecting.

The privacy liner, up front, is not the usual white- or gray-colored material you would expect on a lighter-colored suit, but made from the same darker aqua material used for the trim. Even when dry, the liner can be seen through the swimsuit body...

But my 'wet test' in the shower revealed that it is even more prominently on display when the fabric is wet. You can also very clearly see the hair on my leg through the wet material, as well. So, yeah.. definitely a more transparent suit when wet.

I like the look of those, captain.

Aww.. thanks, buddy.

I got a white Brave Person brief from Amazon recently. Pretty happy with it especially given how cheap it was, but I agree that they don't leave anything at all to the imagination when wet. Don't think it's going to be something I'll wear to a pool here in the UK but maybe OK for the beach when the summer comes.

Chris28j 12-20-2017 02:57 AM

I'm going to continue wearing my black ones at the beach. I have the white and blue ones also but those are more revealing than the black ones.

Chris28j 12-20-2017 02:58 AM

I can't figure out how to post pics on here or I'd post some of me wearing them on the beach.

The easiest way is to go to the Puzzle section. On each puzzle is an option to create your own puzzles. Create your own puzzle using a .jpg then link it to a thread here or in the puzzle section.

Thanks I'll give it a try.

That suit looks great on you Chris!

Chris28j 12-23-2017 09:12 PM

Thanks my wife thinks there a little revealing as you can tell in the first pic. But I still wear them anyways she hasn't asked me not to wear them tho.

snarkherder 12-24-2017 05:18 PM

Heh, they are called brave person for a reason. I haven’t worn mine outside yet other than under my shorts as a liner, but maybe I will when the weather gets warmer.

Chris28j 12-24-2017 11:43 PM

lol true and you'll have to wear them out when the weather gets warmer can't wait to spring and summer get here so I can hit the beach in mine again.

MuscleSpeedo 02-20-2018 08:50 PM

Brave Person can be revealing. I've only worn them working out at home or in my hot tub.

Brave Person

rotterdam Speed 02-22-2018 08:10 AM

you could wear them in your garden, as long as they are not wet.. dont you agree?

MuscleSpeedo 02-22-2018 08:28 PM

Oh yea, definitely. I've since gotten 3 other colors of Brave Person suits that are not sheer. So it just depends on the color and style of suit.

rotterdam Speed 02-23-2018 08:03 AM

Hi MuscleSpeedo, are you going to wear those new brave person suits on your next cruise?

Probably not. I really love the look, fit, and feel of the Dolfin Competition Team Solid Racer, and the TruWest Lycra Racer Suit. I always remove the liner and drawstring. Those are my standard suits for cruises. I have them in a variety of colors.

I did try wearing one of my two Addicted swimsuits as seen in the photos. I like the logo print, but not sure about the wider waistband. So I always end up going back to the suits mentioned above. The other suits that I have are just for fun when working out and soaking in the hot tub.

How do you keep it in place without a drawstring?

Unless diving headfirst into a pool, it's never a problem. They just stay in place by the snug fit. I find drawstrings annoying.

need4speedo 03-20-2018 10:43 AM

Are those BP bikinis labeled as swimwear or as underwear? Most i've seen from BP are just underwear. Where did you get them? They definitely look a little revealing, but they'd be fun to try.

The suits are from Amazon and are sold as swimwear. The fabric is spandex and the suits had a front liner like swimwear rather than underwear. The other colors I have are blue, green, and burgundy. Those three suits are not sheer, even with the liner removed.

The green is more of a blueish-green... (I don't yet have photos of the other two colors.)

Awesome pic. Beautiful package shot!

MuscleSpeedo 03-21-2018 03:17 PM

Not great pictures, but here's the blue and the red (which looks more like burgundy)...

NE_OH_thonger 03-21-2018 04:50 PM

I've noticed that about red swimsuits. They tend to get darker when wet. Not a bad thing at all, especially when one wants to keep things beach legal
