Now this is beauty!

A string bikini??

I would call it, a work of art! :p

runnerguy 02-22-2014 03:01 AM

Yummy! Is the right metaphor in my opinion. But let's ask Biron about that :D maybe he might want to be a Gummer servicing this guy.

Byron 02-22-2014 04:06 AM

Thong

Not impressed - camera work needs to be improved so not a work of art
(and not a string bikini).
Sorry to disappoint - more of an arse bandit me (if you wish to trade terms that is) - and yummy is an adjective, not a metaphor.

Torchwatch 02-22-2014 04:21 AM

Nothing wrong with the photo, nothing wrong with the guy, he is wearing a posing suit not and string bikini and I am not interested in scoring points in precise grammar.
Posing suit is a bikini with very narrow sides and a front pouch, the back may be cut way in a Brazilian style or fairly full.
The Japanese adapted this style into the very low cut suit they wear.

His yumminess is a matter for personal choice and not a question over which we should resort to insults or try to drive each other off the board.

dorcas3 02-22-2014 06:39 PM

Don't wear at first

For those who love speedos and want to wear them but are "bashful etc," please don't try to start out with too brief a suit-I certainly wouldn't recommend a posing brief! I would suggest something in the 2 1/2 to 3 sides with ample bun coverage and no ass crack showing. You can get very tight suits in this category. I wear Caussie 2 1/2 100 nylon. Red or black. Darn it just do it and get it over with. You will feel better about yourself and very few if any are going to even notice. If they do it will be because you look so great and sure of yourself.

thisweirdthing1985 02-23-2014 08:54 PM

nice pic. by the way, he has some hair in the lower part of his legs but not in the thighs. do you think some guys shave only the genital area and thighs to look good in speedos?

look at this pic: it looks tom shaved the upper side of his legs, you can see a "line" there.

and this one:

well, maybe I'm wrong, I just want your opinions. thanks!

shaving

Certainly yes to the first part and the aesthetics of protruding pubes need to be considered (funnily enough more acceptable to many at the waistline than at the leg seams of a swim brief it would seem) (example: Japanese guys and low-risers).

As for TD it is hard to tell - though I believe he waxes his chest for photoshoots but usually leaves the legs alone. His happy trail may be
there/not there according to which of many pics you see.

Byron 03-03-2014 08:58 PM

more yummy

Who is wearing this suit ? (no prizes but thisweirdthing1985 may have his magnifying glass out for shaving pattern) :D :D

PSDave 03-07-2014 03:13 PM

the suit the guy is wearing is a Rio Cut Bikini (VERY skinny - almost string sides) I have seen pics of him standing up.

afewgoodmen 03-09-2014 05:20 AM

Hi PSDave --
You mind posting those pics of this man standing up?

Would be nice to see them from a different angle :)

And where do you buy this Rio Cut bikini?

Byron 03-09-2014 04:49 PM

Rio cut

........and where might we find this guy standing up?

PSDave 03-09-2014 05:15 PM

I will see if I can find it and will post it

Byron 03-09-2014 05:41 PM

thanks....

(and I know how frustrating to pin-point when one cannot stop to record every single image seen on the web)

NJHunkguy 03-10-2014 04:51 PM

Other than Prevailsport and Skinzwear, who else sell string side or rio cut swimsuits? Any big name swim company like Speedo and Arena?

Torchwatch 03-10-2014 06:16 PM

A string side bikini is harder to make and more likely to go wrong than other bikinis. The manufacturers will avoid them given little demand.
I like them, but as with thongs it is difficult to find the right places to wear one.

Byron 03-11-2014 01:59 AM

suppliers

As for string sides I would guess a definite No for the big names.
As for Rio cut, there seem to be plenty about - a small selection:

Are you sure it's Steve Grand? I tried to compare the pics from his personal website to the initial pic I posted here, they look a bit different?

I could be wrong...i'm on my 2nd glass of Chianti

Torchwatch 03-11-2014 10:59 AM

Sorry Byron, nice selection of swim bikinis there but no strings.

A string bikini looks like this: http://www.nolimitsunderwear.com/Str...-p/301%20b.htm
or: http://www.nolimitsunderwear.com/Red...-p/301%20r.htm

The front and back are sewn into a waist band consisting of fabric covered elastic.

Sure that was Steve Grand. A very good looking guy!

If you are into guys, be careful experiencing "leaking" after looking into this page!

Byron 03-11-2014 08:29 PM

Steve Grand

Damn - yes a bit of a doppleganger but frankjath has to go to the top of the class for observation ! (you just beat me on the pics NJH)

For PSD: if you look carefully to the "block" of SG to one side here, Joe's post#1 is in there: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/383298618257860293/

(Joe: Can't beat a good Chianti Classico but also Pino Grigio to your taste?)

Byron 03-11-2014 11:42 PM

"no strings"

No need to apologise Tw - no strings there because it was not intended for there to be any . I don't like them but I had a good opportunity to look up some Rio cuts for NJH. Thanks for the illustrations anyway.

Btw when it comes to terminology is it ok to say string here - or must it always be "side tie"?
http://ak1.ostkcdn.com/images/produc...-L13934615.jpg

Torchwatch 03-12-2014 02:02 AM

A side tie is something different. So many variations upon a theme. The ones shown would wash away in a rough sea.

Byron 03-12-2014 03:47 AM

variations indeed...

This is French - no further explanation given except that it is le string:

http://thumb.kweeper.com/11/09/10/31...c0a4ea4f_h.jpg

It could be female as virtually no front and a bit of bum coverage - but turn around and it could be male as a thong with part disappearing down the butt crack, could it not?

Torchwatch 03-12-2014 10:10 AM

Non, c n'est pas le string, c'est un thong!

Byron 03-13-2014 02:18 AM

zut alors !

Life is getting too complicated - I shall just keep my string to tie in the tomato plants (peut etre ils sont fou ces francais)

Byron 03-14-2014 09:12 PM

and another....

http://31.media.tumblr.com/3a572f085...4gnro1_500.jpg
I don't know how to name this - a string mankini perhaps?

Torchwatch 03-14-2014 09:59 PM

I won't argue over the name of this one.
I notice the string passes through metal rings so it can be adjusted and balanced easily.

Byron 03-16-2014 10:42 PM

for and against....

louis 03-17-2014 12:16 AM

yummy

mais ouii mes chers torchwatch and byron ils sont fou ces francais mais non , pas des strings, ou thongs mais tout simplements sexy, wharffffffff......

Byron 03-17-2014 01:10 PM

d'accord....

LOL - I thought I would ask the computer for a translation of that and was much amused by the usual hilarious syntax which resulted, viz
"but my dear ouii torchwatch and byron are these crazy french but no, not strings or thongs but simplements sexy, wharfffffff....."

Torchwatch 03-17-2014 08:11 PM

Is a wharfff a place where ships dock to unload special Italian fabric?

louis 03-17-2014 10:15 PM

yummy

Naw its a french slang meaning wow or cool.

Byron 03-17-2014 11:16 PM

now I understand...

The translation is "Whoaaaa - take a butcher's over there and see just what's on that !"

Byron 03-19-2014 03:33 PM

Non/soignee/wharff!

d'accord? https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.n...72729930_n.jpg

Byron 03-19-2014 04:43 PM

re.post#24

Not a side tie but a neat Thai guy here (is Speedo keeping something from us?):
