swimsuit recognition
I want to say this swimsuit this hottie is wearing is TYR, however the sides are too small for that brand.
The almost resemble 1.5 inches or possibly less; not typical of your average swimmers suit. https://24.media.tumblr.com/8b18d12e...ely1o1_500.jpg |
nice black number
Where DO you get them ? - this needs some serious investigation
(is there some braid and/or tanline at the seams of this suit?) |
I vote Arena Swim...
|
I tried to blow up the image and figure out what the symbol represents but I could not tell.
It's a nice suit! |
I vote very sexy.

Same here Joe - all roads point to Arena but not quite satisfactory for a conclusion.
I have found that pic. elsewhere and it is captioned Stanford Swimmer. That makes it even more confusing as Stanford carry "S" and their color is red, not black (yet the guy is adjacent a Stanford starting block at the pool so could be a visiting competitor perhaps). |

Lol, that works! |
What do you guys think the sides measure out to be? 1.5 inches??
|
side seams
Yes - my estimate too
|
Then what makes you say that it's not a competition type suit?
|
competition
What makes me say what I have never said ?
|
Suspect that Byron suggested it was not an official team/club competition suit, not that the suit was not suitable for competition.

How do you go with this theory? A Stanford swimmer perhaps but wearing his own and not the Uni. club swim brief here as it is only a team practise session at the pool. The guy behind also wearing black is certainly not in racing speedos but a drag suit is likely and so quite appropriate to see for some resistance training ? |
Makes logical sense.
Where the heck did this handsome swimmer find this beautiful suit? I even emailed Arena with the pic attached, heard nothing back. |
answers
LOL - ditto me and Stanford Coach Joe
|
Stanford again
Couldn't resist posting the Stanford red Nike swimteam suit:

That does look like a nice suit, however it just seems that it covers too much of the butt.
I think this suit would be a lot more sexier and attractive had it been more of a cut in the back. The original pic I had posted for this thread has snorters sides and probably shows a little more skin in the back :) |
As far as recognition for the original pic.
I received an answer back from ArenaUSA It is as follows: " Hi Joe, We believe this might be one of our older solid Briefs. We no longer have this logo application. We do carry a similar style called the Skys Brief for Men. Please see below link: http://www.arenausa.com/competition/..._0_1_4355.html Hope this is helpful. Travis " |
black arena
OK - looks as if that's as far as we will get - and no reply from Stanford about my theory of their team training session taking place there
(LOL - I had better not tell the coach that his guys have too much butt coverage in their Nikes) |
whatever brand that is, it fits him great. I guess the key to looking good in a 1.5 inch suit is to try on several brands until you get the one that fits you best.

swim team
Likely to be custommade gray there by AgonSwim for Grand Canyon AZ
|
:)

Here is the full team...
Looks nice in uniform. |
Nice team pic.
Are we still with the Lopes? (Antelopes)
AgonSwim have shown the gray team speedo with and without GCU and this seems to be the version without (can we find more on a blog somewhere, ie the 'lope on the butt?) |
familiar location?
Going back to post#1 I think I see a Stanford starting block again.
This time two swimmers in blue speedos (and one clearly Arena): http://25.media.tumblr.com/8566abd3a...f0mo1_1280.jpg |
and again......
Maybe another Stanford* swimmer here - this time in black Nike
http://24.media.tumblr.com/a50e1b5a4...rrxo1_1280.jpg *not dissimilar to guy no.1 and definitely carries a Stanford shammie |
Swimsuit Reg..,.,,
bYRON I CLICKED THE PIC TO MY PICTURE FOLDERS THEN ENLARGED IT AND YES YOU ARE RIGHT ITS SUITS FROM AGONSWIM SAME LOGO
|
20/20
Thank you Louis but I did have a little help from https://www.agonswim.com/cgi-bin/vie...ascot=antelope
(but still no sign of a 'lope speedo bum) |
I'm kind of lost on the last few posts on this thread.
Are you guys suggesting that the original pic is agonswim? |
good work Byron..

You definitely know how to do some homework when it comes to finding some hot suits on some very hot men! :) |

Thank you. Do it by numbers Joe - that will avoid too many words.
I am answering here your post#29 ie: You started with #1 - swimmer in black speedo - soon identified by Knikon as most likely an Arena. You later presented a team in gray speedos (#21) and I identified their suits as AgonSwim (my#22) Louis has been checking out my #22 and agrees (as he says in his #27) PS: re. my #24 I have searched without luck for the antelope on the bum of a GCU team suit |
Re.post#26
Another Stanford location (beginning to think I live there and that they need a thread of their own).
Black speedos again but to complete the picture this time some WP guys rather than swimmers: http://31.media.tumblr.com/a6dcae9aa...3vkno1_500.jpg |

what a great shot, especially the guy who has the great butt facing the camera. That suit is sure grabbing onto him!!! |
Gcu
Joe - your post#21
I have picked up three GCU guys here in their AgonSwim suits - but still no butt pics for the 'lopes. From their size I would say these are likely to be divers rather than swimmers but not sure: http://24.media.tumblr.com/2602061f1...g3zto1_500.jpg |
I like this one, from 1992 Olympics, I think.
http://www.thezerosbeforetheone.com/...er_1215442.jpg Got to be a 1.5 inch brief. |
US champion
Most likely it is Tom Jager - seven Olympic medals and gold at Seoul 1988.
Coaching now at Washington (I would guess 2 rather than 1.5 for his swim brief) |
It is. I did a comparison with the Aussiebum 1.5 Classic and it looks about the same. The tan lines show he's used to wearing less brief suits.
|
great pics.
I would have to say that the suit is more of 2" rather than 1.5". Although the "cut" that follows thru to the buttocks can make a BIG difference. If the cut follows thru to where it takes away fabric from the buttocks, then even a 2 inch suit will look more like 1.5 inch; the flip to that can have the opposite effect. |
Yeah, see what you mean, though haven't 1.5 suits been worn in competitive swimming before?
|

I myself have not seen too many guys wearing 1.5 suits worn in a competitions. Hopefully a trend will start! :D |
