Just got rid of my Jammers. Almost never wore them.

I'm up to 7! 1 each of:

I also have 2 pairs of board shorts but those don't count. :p Actually, I bought the second pair a couple years ago because I had gained too much weight to wear the others anymore, but now they are way too big on me, so big I couldn't wear them anymore so I'm back in the other pair I haven't worn since freshman year of college/uni! They aren't the only item of clothing I've gotten rid of because they're too large. In fact, I had to exchange my most recent speedo purchase, the HARDCORESPORT, for a smaller size because the others in the size I usually wear were too large!

I honestly had never counted mine before, but here's what I have:
-21 "speedo-style" suits
-8 squarecut
-3 jammers

The sad and ironic thing is that I barely ever get to wear them. I don't swim much, but I think they're cool, haha. When I do swim, I normally wear them under my swimming shorts. I can count the times I've been in the water "speedo-only" on one hand.

2 "new" solars (white logo, 2" side)

4 TYR 2" suits
1 speedo 3" suit
1 TYR 3" suit
1 Arena 2.5" suit (LOVE lap swimming in this suit)

Plus two more 2.5" Arenas I'm getting in the mail tomorrow.

And I can't count how many suits I've collected and purged over my lifetime. Probably 100?

Swimsuits
 

Cleaning out my drawers and found a sting side rio and sunseeker rio that I bought and never wore. Kept them and will try to actually wear them now. Also
found another older pair of short trunks so the total is 8.

Lots and lots
 

Must own over 50-60 suits.
Lifeguard suits, bikinis, one piece suits, orphan bikini tops, synchro suits, lots of black one piece speedos used in synchro and some fancy synchro suits I sewed myself.

Fresh stock take
 

As someone who only swam in squarecuts until recently, a recent holiday in Croatia has helped me to build up a reasonable stock. Don't have the shape or body for AB's etc, but here is my collection:-

1 1.5inch Arena in red (love the look and feel when on but not that suitable for my local public pools)
1 2inch Deep and light blue Speedo
1 2inch three stripe Addias in deep blue ( a favourite!)
1 3inch Slazanger in black and gray
1 Speedo Endurance in red
1 Speedo Endurance in Black and Orange
1 High Waist Blue and white stripe 'GLB' make ( lovely silky feel)
1 2 inch Islandhaze black and gray

As far as the square cuts go:-
1 Black Speedo Endurance
1 Slazanger black and green
1 Black and blue trimmed Speedo Trunk
1 Unnamed black and geen
1 Sunga style in black

13 in total. Swam in 10 of them. 3 to go !:D

I am now at 2, one briefs and one squarecut, but tan through. I like the light weight and quick dry of tan through material. Will need to get a short pair of swimshorts at some point, but will try to go with the tan through material again.
How I got there.
At the end of summer 2017, I got rid of the older short shorts, moderate shorts, standard speedo and the 2 very brief suits, going down to 3 total, 2 solar and 1 short shorts.
One of the solars was beginning to get worn so I bought at tan though micro brief, but the top of my bush and crack were showing, so I got a standard tan through brief and got rid of the micro. Ordered tan through "shorts" which were more like a squarecut. Got rid of the solars. By the end of the summer, my swim shorts were wearing out, so I got rid of them.

How many speedos?
 

At present. my tally is 70. Mostly Budgy Smugglers. Have collected and resold many hundreds over my 60 year collection span. eBay is very good for sales.
