All very odd (found him posting on SpeedoForum back in February - that time asking how to get an American suntan)

don't know what the reasoning is with having to sign in. I am hoping it is because I haven't been on for a few weeks. If it is a daily thing then this is my last visit.

PSDave - unless I'm doing something wrong, signing is is a daily "chore" for me.

Sebbie, when we were growing up, only the government and giant corporations had computers. They took up entire rooms and ran on 360 kb of memory. (IBM360 mainframe)

AND, we walked 10 miles each way to school and both directions were uphill. :)

This reminds me of the joke about the guy struggling to work one morning on his bike against a gale force wind. His legs are so tired in trying to make any headway that he says "I sure hope this wind has turned around by the time I come home this afternoon"

And we had to write on slates at school to do our arithmetic.....

Arithmetic? You mean you weren't taught in Roman numerals?
